The 11th European Congress of Endoscopic Ultrasonography will be held on September 19 - 20, 2025, in Szeged, Hungary. The event will feature 30+ invited speakers, live EUS demonstrations, lectures, discussions, and hands-on training. Special sessions include video case presentations and two webinars for EUS nurses.

United Kingdom and Ireland Endoscopic Ultrasound society (UKIEUS) is a national society representing all endosonographers in the UK and Ireland, founded in 1998. The society has a long history of supporting training and developing guidance for various EUS procedures. PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Welcome to the UKIEUS website – the official website for the endoscopic ultrasound community in the UK & Ireland. UKIEUS has been promoting teaching, training and research in endoscopic ultrasound since its inception in 1998.
The first annual meeting was organised in 1999 by Dr. Ashley Roberts (although informal meetings had occurred annually from 1996, see our history section). Since then EUS has seen an exponential leap change in its role as both a diagnostic and therapeutic modality for various GI diseases. The significant change in the last decade has seen EUS move from being another diagnostic investigation to a vital and irreplaceable test in benign and cancer GI multidisciplinary teams across the country.
